Sun City Anthem Service Organizations - Clubs
Below is information on the several clubs and service organizations presently active in this community. If the name of the particular organization is not self-descriptive, I will supply some information on it. As you will see, there is much to do here as well as services to take advantage of, if you wish. If you are bored here with nothing to do and no interests, its your own fault!
In addition to the above, there are a number of events scheduled monthly for the benefit of the residents. These include classes, seminars, performances in SC Anthem’s Freedom Hall, free monthly concerts on the north lawn and trips to events and sightseeing destinations in the area.
Community Service Club – This volunteer support group provides a variety of services for residents. These services include transportation to medical providers or grocery stores, loans of durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, crutches and such, home maintenance and home assistance. This organization also sponsors several support groups.
Fitness and Wellness Center – Sponsors several health orientated classes and seminars. The wellness center, in conjunction with St. Rose Dominican hospital, offers many other personalized services.
Security Patrol – This is a volunteer group that in marked cars, patrols the Sun City Anthem streets 24 hours a day.
