Sun City Anthem has approximately 7,200 homes. These were built between 1998 and 2008. The homes range in size from 1,080 to 3,172 sq. ft. There will be some larger homes as Del Webb offered a customization option. There is a 75,000 sq. ft. community center. Across the main parking area is second center of approximately 30,000 sq. ft. The third center is also available with both indoor, outdoor and hot water pool. Exercise room, activities rooms,  tennis courts and three pickle ball courts are at this 3rd clubhouse.

A fire station has been built roughly in the center of the community. The elevation at Sun City Anthem ranges from 2,580 ft. to 2,975 ft. above sea level.

Sun City Anthem now has its own television channel, local cable channel 99.
