Queensridge was developed by Christopher Homes. They built many production homes and also sold several lots for custom homes. Queensridge South with an entrance on W. Charleston was the first to develop with Queensridge North, with its entrance on Alta developed later. Most of the construction was between 1996 and 2003. There is a huge range in home sizes, ranging from 1,942 sq. ft. to 21,712 sq. ft. A total of 605 homes were built. Many of the production homes as well as customs back to the Badlands Golf Course.
Common area amenities include clubhouse, exercise room, pool and tennis courts. There is a great deal of infrastructure close by with Boca Park at the northeast corner of the development as well as many other options along W. Charleston and Rampart which borders the eastern perimeter of the community.
Queensridge has been somewhat adversely affected by the closing of The Badlands golf course. To what extent, remains to be seen. There has not been, as of yet, a decision as to what development will be allowed on the golf course land.
The Canyons Village in Summerlin is just to the north with Summerlin Hospital about 1 1/2 miles away.
There are also two non-guard gated options at Queensridge Las Vegas. Windsor at Queensridge, a gated community of free standing homes is at the northeast corner of the community. Fairway Homes, a gated community of townhomes, is at the southeast corner.
