Las Vegas Central East Side Neighborhood
Paradise Palms is located just east of the Boulevard Mall on the east side of Las Vegas. It extends on both sides of Desert Inn Rd. It is very centrally located, close to the strip (within 1 1/2 miles). The homes here were built primarily in the 1960s and 1970s and range from 1,156 sq. ft. to 5,316 sq. ft. The development south of Desert Inn surrounds the National Golf Club, formerly the Sahara Country Club. A number of the homes back up to the golf course. This is very much an "old style" Las Vegas golf course with broad green fairways and lots of mature trees and landscaping. The construction of many of the homes characterizes what many view as the "Old Vegas" style. If that look is appealing to you, then this development may be a good choice. Many of these homes do have a very unique look. It is as if many of the homes were built with the thinking that the "rat pack" was coming over for dinner, and maybe they did.
