Del Webb North Ranch Reviews
Personal observation: This community in some ways mirrors its sister community Del Webb Lake Las Vegas. Both have comparable amenities, Pools, spas, and pickleball courts and both have clubhouses of around 10,000 sq. ft. Inside the gates there is great similarity. North Ranch is built on flat land while the Lake Las Vegas community is built in the foothills above the lake. Here in North Ranch the surrounding areas have mostly conventional subdivisions while many of the other Dell Webb age-restricted communities are inside master-planned communities. The master plans are generally seen to be somewhat more preferable.
The location here is very convenient for shopping with grocery, for example, less than a mile away.
This is a "boutique" community by Del Webb standards. For example, Sun City Summerlin and Sun City Anthem have between 7,200 and 7,800 homes. There is some advantage with a smaller community in terms of the closeness of the residents but the larger communities have an advantage in terms of the breadth of the social opportunities. For example, Sun City Summerlin, at one time, represented 150 tennis players with a USTA rating of 3.5 or better. There are no tennis courts at all in Del Webb North Ranch.
The elevation at 2,000 ft. above sea level is roughly comparable with the strip/ airport area.
The newer homes, such as in Del Webb at North Ranch, are better designed to meet the needs of homeowners in the modern digital age.
