Del Webb undertook a huge project at Anthem Las Vegas, Henderson ( over 4,700 acres). Go south on Eastern Blvd. as far as you can go and you will be there. The initial construction involved Coventry Homes, Anthem Country Club, and Sun City Anthem. Sun City Anthem alone has over over 7,000 homes. Coventry Homes is a family community. Anthem Country Club is much the same as Red Rock Country Club on the west side. There is a country club here with golf and social memberships available. Other builders were active in the Anthem area. It is guard-gated and has a community center with a pool, tennis, and activity rooms. Some lots have strip and mountain views
One word of caution, the traffic on Eastern, south of the 215 beltway can be very congested. As far as I can tell this is the main practical ingress and egress from these communities for anyone headed to the airport or most other areas of Las Vegas. With the development next door of Inspirada, there is now Volunteer Blvd Bicentennial and Via Inspirada to the west, which conveniently accesses additional shopping and services, the I15.
